The staff and Dr Peterson were very helpful, breaks it down and referred me to a Dr for cataract surgery. I can not wait to get this done! When I was with Kaiser they always said I could not have any surgery !

Dr. Shields is exceptional! She is incredibly caring, compassionate, and thorough when explaining the results of every test. She takes the time to listen to all of your concerns, answers every question with patience, and never make you feel rushed. She creates a welcoming, comfortable environment where you know you’re being heard and cared for. I truly appreciate the time, attention, and genuine concern she shows at every visit. Been a patient of AVOC for many years . Staff and Doctors have always been great.Dr. Petersen is great. The tech we had today and last year is Cheyenne. She is awesome. Front desk great as well.

Dr. Shields is the best! I’ve been seeing her for years and she is so friendly, caring and gentle. I truly appreciate the time she takes to explain everything to me in terms I will understand. I highly recommend asking for her whenever you visit.

Dr Peterson is very good at what he does & is very educated in problems with the eyes, something I never heard of that he explained with concern & professionalism & put me on a path that is needed. He’s extremely patient, funny & an all around nice man. I’ve been going to him since the Martin brothers retired & he has lived up to their wonderful care. I would recommend him to anyone & everyone!

Dr. Peterson is an excellent dr. He has a great personality and is thorough in his testing of my eyes. Explaining why my left eye was blurry. I wondered what was going on with it and didn’t know why I couldn’t see very well.

All the people there were very friendly and helpful. The exam was very in depth. Dr Peterson was very detailed in his exam and asked good questions. I would definitely recommend AVOC to everyone in need of optometric help.
